January 2013 ~ A New Beginning

At some point in our lives the road we’ve been traveling down brings us to the bends and the turns as it encourages us (or forces us) to look in other directions and change our course. And as life tosses us one more curve ball…when we were once able to dodge them with little effort…I’ve noticed that I’m not the only person who has found this “game” to be a game that I was no longer able to play well anymore.

You may have had some things happen to you over these past few years ~ where once you may have had to deal with one challenging situation every now and then it has quickly become the standard. Multiple life changing events are occurring, almost simultaneously at times, and you’re no longer able to see what is coming or where it is going or even how to make it stop as you were able to do in the past. While watching everyday people trying to get through the day life has been piling one major life issue upon another upon another with no breaks in between…and this has been going on for years, not months or days. We have been challenged in every area of our lives and it seems to be in the areas of our beliefs as to who, what and why people, careers, things, health, finances, relationships and to discover what our hearts are filled with ~ anger or envy, despair or compassion?

What has brought this upon us? Well, I could easily speculate but I’m going to step outside of the box and welcome the multiple opportunities for growth in every aspect of my being, mind, body, heart and soul. Why look back and attempt to figure out what caused this earthquake in our lives? Why not just accept that life is changing by releasing us from the clutter we’ve become so attached to and experience the discomforts of wearing these conforming ideals and ill fitted beliefs and labels that may never have suited or served us at all? We were once tempted to splurge our energies by wasting time on decaying emotions, relationships, objectives and opinions. Now we are finding that we are being built from the inside out, a regeneration of life and purpose and connection with our soul selves including each other. So now, your career, family, home, health, money, intelligence and intuition may serve your higher self thus giving you and others around you the opportunity to benefit from your “reconnection” and for you to “recycle” and “repurpose” your emotions, thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and life and move forward on what will be a new path.

And, if you so decide to look behind you, notice what is no longer there to haunt you, to harm you, to judge you, or deceive you for this cleansing was not accidental nor to be viewed as a punishment of some sorts but as a gift of a new beginning for you. When you decide to turn your head and heart and soul around and look forward and take a few steps on this new road you will begin to walk, not by sight, but by faith. You will discover your guidance that only you will hear and know for yourself when you give yourself the time and patience and courage to listen and believe that all things are possible when you walk with God.

So, to live outside of the box once again…everything has a higher purpose ~ when we turn within ~ we will never go without again.
